While these solutions are convenient for drivers and reduce costs in the shipping industry, an increasing vehicle density also increases exhaust gas concentration. Carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen dioxide (NO2) emissions from gasoline and diesel engines are hazardous to human health and reduce worker productivity.
